Offshore Safety Stastistics from UK HSE

The UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) reported the following offshore safety  statistics on for 2009-10 period.

  • Zero fatalities
  • 50 major injuries
  • 85 major and significant hydrocarbon releases (HCRs)

  1. This is very useful – have you tried the European Maritime Safety Authority’s annual report? Excellent analysis.
    How I wish that the Australian Maritime Safety Agency (AMSA) would publish such useful statistics!
